SECOND SESSION: MCW RAGE TV EPISODE # 21

A British import debuted, and a former Maryland Championship Wrestling heavyweight championship continued his quest to regain the title with some harsh words for the MCW hierarchy in the latest episode of MCW Rage TV.

MCW Commissioner: “WISE GUY” JIMMY CICERO. Executive Producer MCW & Rage TV: PETE McDEVITT. Ring announcer: JOHN GERMANE. Ringside coordinator: The immortal GILLBERG. Taping the proceedings: PAUL McCLEMENS. Timekeeper at the bell: KAYLA McDEVITT. MCW Webmaster: AARON SAIA. Referees for the evening: TONYA STEVENS, WILLIAM JACKSON and JARED ARTMAN.

Commissioner JIMMY CICERO starts the show by thanking the fans for helping him in his efforts to bodyslam autism. He introduces newcomer “GENTLEMAN” JOE PORRITT, freshly arrived from the United Kingdom where he is helping bodyslam autism across the Atlantic. He will be making his MCW debut (perhaps his North American debut) later in the show.

Match #1: DARQUE KARNIVAL (KINDRED & HOKUS, with OLIVR GRIMSLY) pinned CHUCK LENNOX & MITCH MILLER. The Karnival dominates their helpless opposition, with Kindred pinning Lennox after a spine buster.

Match #2: COUNTRY STRONG (HOSS HAGOOD & “COWBOY CASANOVA” KEVIN CHESNEY, with CHASTITY) & “GENTLEMAN” JOE PORRITT pinned THE EXECUTIONER & NICK RAGEOUS & DARRELL HIGHTOWER. Executioner is definitely one the fans love to hate, as he delays the start of the match by arguing with them. He finally gets down to business with a wristlock on Porritt. Joe, the newcomer from Cleveland (not the one in Ohio but rather the one in England), shows his skills, torturing Ex with an arm wringer, wristlock, hammerlock and takedown. Tagging in, Chesney is met by a rake to the eyes. Hightower tags and is promptly covered for a 2-count. Hagood and Rageous are now the legal men, with Hoss hitting a sidewalk slam and getting a 2-count. After a tag to Chesney, both Country Strongmen slam Rageous to the mat, with Kevin then getting the pin.

Match #3: TYLER HILTON pinned OLIVER GRIMSLY (with HOKUS & KINDRED). One segment of the audience yells “Bieber! Bieber!” taunts at Hilton. You figure!?! Grimsly throws the charging Hilton out of the ring as the fight goes to ringside. Back in the ring, Grimsly dropkicks Tyler out of the ring. Hilton comes back to stomp Oliver, getting a body slam and a 2-count. Grimsly makes a comeback with a flying head scissors, splash, and a series of dropkicks. Channeling Arn Anderson, Hilton then hits a spine buster and pins Oliver.

After the match, Hilton once again goes on a tirade directed at heavyweight champion COBIAN and commissioner JIMMY CICERO. He calls them ”crooks” and vows to recapture “his” title. He warns Cicero not to interfere any more in his matches.

FIRST SESSION: MCW RAGE TV EPISODE # 20

A father lost his son to a cult as a result of losing the main event on the latest episode of MCW Rage TV.

MCW Commissioner: “WISE GUY” JIMMY CICERO. Executive Producer MCW & Rage TV: PETE McDEVITT. Ring announcer: JOHN GERMANE. Ringside coordinator: The immortal GILLBERG. Taping the proceedings: PAUL McCLEMENS. Timekeeper at the bell: KAYLA McDEVITT. MCW Webmaster: AARON SAIA. Referees for the evening: TONYA STEVENS, WILLIAM JACKSON and JARED ARTMAN.

PETE McDEVITT opens the proceedings with commissioner JIMMY CICERO, who announces that Rage TV is now on the air in more northern VA cable networks and is ready to debut on cable in York, PA. GILLBERG interrupts the proceedings, handing Cicero a manila envelope that has just arrived at the arena. The envelope contains a bunch of “Wanted” posters indicating that a bounty has been placed on the heads of several MCW wrestlers. Cicero calls the posters “garbage” and throws them to the floor.

AIDA MARIE DANIELS and the WINNERS’ CIRCLE (CHRIS CLOW and ALEXANDER JAMES) come out to predict victory in their main event match against “HARD ROCK” RICKY BLUES and R.K. BLUES. Should the Blues team win the match, they will be able to shed their “loser” shirts. Should the WC win—and, please, I don’t mean the European definition of “WC”—R.K. will have to come with the Circle to an indoctrination retreat that their absent leader DOC DANIELS is currently preparing.

Match #1: NAPALM BOMB pinned JA ROTH. Roth’s refusal to shake Bomb’s hand and subsequent slapping Napalm’s face lead to his rapid destruction as Napalm pummels him with Flair chops, karate kicks, and a 180º top rope splash before pinning him. As Napalm celebrates his victory with the fans, the BRUISER and an unknown masked individual attack him and shower him with some of those “Wanted” flyers, leaving him helpless on the mat until NUI TOFIGA and FED UP chase them out of the arena. A close up of the flyer shows that a bounty has been put on Napalm.

Match #2: RONNIE ZUKKO (with JESSIKA) pinned JUSTIN CORBIN. Ronnie is wearing a shirt that has “WWZD?” emblazoned on the front and “SMACK A B!#CH!” on the back. A back-and-forth beginning eventually goes Zukko’s way as Ronnie hits a neck breaker. Rather than go for the pin, Ronnie argues with the crowd and the referee as Jessika chokes Corbin, whose head is on the ropes. Zukko finally covers for a 2-count. Corbin hits a jawbreaker, whips Ronnie into the ropes and delivers a Stinger splash; but Ronnie hits another neck breaker and avoids his previous mistake by immediately covering for the pin.

The camera then invades the area backstage where RICKY BLUES is talking with his son RK, telling him that he can still change his mind about their upcoming tag team match. RK doesn’t want to hear this, promising to make his father proud by winning the match, with the Blueses exiting the ring without those “loser” shirts.

Match #3: THE WINNERS CIRCLE (ALEXANDER JAMES & CHRIS CLOW) pinned R.K. BLUES & “HARD ROCK” RICKY BLUES). RK starts the match by back flipping James. Ricky tags in and thwarts a double-teaming by throwing both opponents out of the ring. Clow and RK tag in. Chris hits a suplex and gets a 2-count. Alex then tags in and also gets a 2-count after hitting a clothesline. RK gets a 2-count after power-bombing Clow. With all four wrestlers in the ring, Ricky argues with Aida Marie. As RK comes to help his father, Ricky doesn’t see him approaching from behind. Thinking he has an opponent, Ricky slams his own son and is horrified as RK is pinned. The Circle leads RK out of the ring as Dad looks on dejectedly.

FIFTH SESSION: MCW RAGE TV EPISODE # 17

A chaotic main event that featured among others Maryland Championship Wrestling’s heavyweight champion dominated this week’s episode of MCW Rage TV.

MCW Commissioner: “WISE GUY” JIMMY CICERO. Executive Producer MCW & Rage TV: PETE McDEVITT. Ring announcer: BERNIE DIEHL. Co-host of MCW Rage TV: MARK BRAY. Ringside coordinators: MICHAEL BLACK and the immortal GILLBERG. Taping the proceedings: PAUL McCLEMENS. Sound courtesy of PUMPKINHEAD SOUND. Timekeeper at the bell and MCW Webmaster: AARON SAIA. Referees for the evening: TONYA STEVENS, WILLIAM JACKSON and JARED ARTMAN.

As the card begins, MARK BRAY talks with MCW commissioner JIMMY CICERO about what happened last week, when RONNIE ZUKKO and JESSIE KAYE beat up NUI TOFIGA and smeared his face with make-up after Jessie had sprayed perfume into Nui’s eyes. Cicero’s comments have hardly begun when R.K. BLUES and his father RICKY BLUES come out wearing their “loser” shirts. Cicero tells them that he thinks it’s asinine that the two must continue to wear those shirts until they win a match, and says they can take them off. R.K. refuses the Commissioner’s offer, saying that he got his father into this mess and he will get them out of it by winning a match. Out comes the WINNERS’ CIRCLE (ZACHARY SHANE, CHRIS CLOW, and ALEXANDER JAMES, zombie-like, led by their guru DOC DANIELS and his sister AIDA MARIE. Doc tells the younger Blues that he sees in him a mind that he can “cultivate and grow”. He offers R.K. a match next week against a designated Winners’ Circle member with the following stipulations: If R.K. wins, then he and his father can take off those “loser” shirts for good. If R.K. loses, then Doc will have that chance to “cultivate” the youngster’s mind, as R.K. will have to go off on a “Winner’s retreat” with Doc and Aida. Daddy Blues isn’t enamored of this deal; but R.K. promises not to let him down.

Match #1: Rage TV champion RONNIE ZUKKO (with JESSIE KAYE) pinned JA ROTH in a non-title match. Zukko uses a neck breaker to weaken Ja for the fall. After the match, Ronnie and Jess smear Roth’s face with lipstick.

Match #2: COUNTRY STRONG (KEVIN CHESNEY & HOSS HAGOOD, with CHASTITY) pinned PAUL “PALE” WHITE & MITCH MILLER. White is in for almost the entire match, being victimized by several body slams, then being stepped on, slammed again and pinned. Seeing the relative newcomers Miller and White over the past few weeks make me have flashbacks to certain tag teams of my youth: “SPACEMAN” FRANK HICKEY & ROCKY COOKSON, PETE SÁNCHEZ & CARLOS MILANO, JOE & BOB MARCUS, FRANKIE WILLIAMS & [ALMOST ANYBODY]. Booked to compete against the cream of the MCW tag team crop, they are hopelessly overmatched.

Match #3: NAPALM BOMB & COBIAN & FED UP (G-FED & C-FED, with CHASTITY) pinned DROLIX & TYLER HILTON & THE HOLY ROLLERS (EARL THE PEARL & RAMBLIN’ RICH MYERS, with J.P. CALLAHAN & MARCUS STREETS). The crowd was at fever pitch for this main event featuring four of the best liked and four of the most-hated wrestlers in MCW. G-Fed starts the match to chants of “Son! Son! Son!” as he punches Earl around the ring and covers for a 2-count. Tags are made to their respective tag-team partners. The results are the same, however, as C-Fed beats on Rich. Napalm tags in and continues the assault, throwing Ramblin’ across the ring. Drolix takes a tag and gets super kicked by Napalm for his efforts. Two new wrestlers in the ring: champ Cobian clotheslines Earl, who tags Hilton. Cobian slams Hilton, elbow drops him and gets a near fall. The tables finally turn; however, when Napalm Bomb finds himself triple-teamed in the bad guys’ corner as the referee (with, of course, his back turned) is occupied with getting the other good guys out of the ring. With Napalm against the ropes, non-competitor Streets gets some punches in. Drolix then covers the staggering Bomb for a 2-count. Earl tags in and once again has Bomb on the ropes, with Streets landing more punches from outside. Drolix re-enters and lands some nasty karate chops on Napalm’s chest. With the rest of the teams trying to get into the ring, the referee has his hands full. COUNTRY STRONG comes to ringside. KEVIN CHESNEY and Drolix have a face-off as CHASTITY sneaks up from behind and gives Drolix a “completely eunuch experience”. Staggered by the force of the ‘nad shot and probably preoccupied with the possibility of being unable to father future children, Drolix stumbles into Napalm who hits the bomb and then gets the 3-count to the big-time approval of the audience.
